About Young Entrepreneur Council

Young Entrepreneur Council, more commonly known as YEC, is an invitation-only membership community for young, successful entrepreneurs.

Young Entrepreneur Council is a fee-based membership organization with approximately 1,000 to 2,500 members. Its members and headquarters are distributed throughout the world, as it is a fully remote organization.

Young Entrepreneur Council offers publishing privileges to its members. These privileges include featured mentions in entrepreneurial-focused articles, as well as full bylined articles written by its members in their area of leadership and business management expertise.

This organization offers networking opportunities via regular virtual events, and private community groups accessible through its member portal website and mobile app.

In order to be eligible for Young Entrepreneur Council, you must be 45 or younger and the founder, co-founder, or co-owner of a company generating at least $1,000,000 in annual revenue. Additionally, you may be eligible if your company has acquired at least $1,000,000 in funding since inception or your business was sold for at least $2,000,000 in the last 3 years.

In order to be considered for Young Entrepreneur Council, qualified candidates must either apply for consideration, or be referred by existing members. Meeting the minimum requirements alone does not guarantee an invitation to join the organization. Qualified applicants will be screened by a selection committee. If approved, applicants will receive an invitation to join Young Entrepreneur Council.

An annual fee in the range of $1,000 to $2,500 will be due at the time of joining the organization.

The organization’s members work at an array of reputable companies, most notably: Back to the Roots, Thrillist, 15Five, Hawke Media, botkeeper, Threadless, Trainual, Wpromote, KISSmetrics, College Hunks Hauling Junk, Hootsuite, Pluto TV, and Rent The Runway.
