About International Coaching Federation
International Coaching Federation is a membership organization for trained professional coaches. ICF also accredits programs that deliver coaching education.
International Coaching Federation is a fee-based and accredited membership organization with approximately 50,000 to 75,000 members. It is headquartered in Lexington, Kentucky, but its members are distributed throughout the world, as it is a remote organization.
International Coaching Federation offers many benefits to its members. These include leveraging credibility with ICF badges and certificates, continued education for professional development, and access to industry research.
Members have access to discounted in-person and virtual events and peer-to-peer engagement through local ICF chapters.
In order to be eligible for International Coaching Federation, you must hold a current ICF Credential, completed at least 60 hours of coach-specific training, or be enrolled in 60 hours of coach-specific training in a program that has either the ICF Accredited Coach Training Program or Approved Coach-Specific Training Hours.
In order to be considered for ICF, qualified candidates must either apply for consideration or be referred by existing members.
An annual fee in the range of $100 to $500 will be due at the time of joining the organization, and for every year you continue your membership.
The organization offers members special pricing from some of these reputable companies, most notably: Wellbeing, Staples, Cloverleaf, and Alievo.
