The International Federation of Accountants is a membership community for global advocacy, support, and the development of the accountancy profession. 

The International Federation of Accountants is a fee-based organization that is headquartered in NYC, with members dispersed remotely around the world. Membership consists of 180 professional accountancy organizations across 130 jurisdictions, representing over 3 million professional accountants globally.  

The International Federation of Accountants offers members a host of benefits. These privileges include visibility, as the IFAC is a globally recognized hallmark of a high-quality professional accounting organization. Members will be able to join the global conversation on crucial issues in the industry and participate in international standard-setting processes. 

In order to be considered for The International Federation of Accountants, candidates must be financially and operationally viable, have an appropriate governance structure, and make financial contributions to IFAC.
