The Society for Human Resources Management is a membership community to promoting career development and advanced education for those in HR roles.

The Society for Human Resources Management is a fee-based membership organization with approximately 300,000 to 325,000 members. Headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, members are dispersed throughout the globe as the organization is remote.

The Society for Human Resources Management offers its members a variety of benefits. These include access to day-to-day HR support, accredited certification programs, and a global community for peer-to-peer interaction.

This organization offers networking opportunities via regular events, seminars, and eLearning courses.

In order to be considered for SHRM, qualified candidates must either apply for consideration or be referred by existing members.

An annual fee in the range of $100 to $500 will be due at the time of joining the organization and then yearly for continued access.
